What Makes an Oriental Rug Store So Great?

A few years back, I was going to Orange County on vacation, and there was supposedly an exotic oriental rug store just down the road from the hotels. As a dyed-in-the-wool rug dealer and avid rug fancier, I was curious to see what was so special about this shop. I had only seen oriental rugs in Asia a couple of times before but knew I was in for an adventure. I had been looking forward to this trip ever since I had heard about this store from one of my friends. Unfortunately, after only a couple of hours of shopping, I had my fill of pretentious displays and expensive-looking silk oriental rugs, when I realized I had been had.

I went back to the states and tried to find the same store where I had first seen the rugs in California. Much to my disappointment, the showroom had recently relocated to a new location, and all the Oriental Rugs that I had seen were nowhere to be found. The new shop was filled with high-quality, well-maintained rugs and pieces that did not look anything like what I had experienced in the showroom. It was disheartening. I felt like all the time and money I had put into buying these beautiful oriental rugs were just a waste because none of them really matched the interior design I had in mind.

A little bit of research turned up a real oriental rug store that was close to where I had bought my first rug, so I decided to drop by and take a look around. I was shocked at the quality of the rugs and pieces that were on display. The store manager was very knowledgeable and willing to show me all of his wonderful rugs and pieces. I was completely blown away! Everything was amazingly well made and the colors were rich and vibrant.

I knew I had found the perfect rug shop. It was as if someone had lifted all the images and pictures of rugs from the internet and created a showroom right in front of me. The next thing I knew I had an entire wall full of gorgeous, high-quality oriental rugs that looked brand new. I knew I had found a great rug expert in my area. All I had to do was ask more questions, order a few more samples, and make an appointment for a trial run.

Of course, having an antique rug in my home adds beauty and value to it. I also now have many of the carpet restoration services that I have been looking for. I have been shopping around for a good company that offers affordable prices, high-quality products, great customer service, as well as affordable prices on their aftermarket products. I have also been keeping tabs on the company’s progress on all their work. This has been a great help because now I have a company that I can rely on to clean my carpets regularly, restore my rugs, and give other wonderful services. They even offer some repair services for antique carpets.

Since moving into my new home, I have noticed all the little things that were different about my old place. I now have a beautiful living room with a large carpeted area rug that really makes a difference in the room. My kitchen is now done to my liking and I even have an area that I call my showroom. The people at the Oriental rug store are always very helpful and informative. They really are the experts when it comes to these types of products and services. The staff is very knowledgeable and it is like a showroom right in my home.
