The OC Rug Store is located in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County. It is a family business established by Ahmad Bustani in the early 19th century. The elder Ahmad Bustani was himself an artist and master of the ancient rug-making process in Tabriz, and came from a family with many generations of rug experience and knowledge. Our family has sold Persian and oriental rugs over the past century with the knowledge passed down from generation to generation. One type of rug which is designed in the city and that we specialize in is called a Tabriz rug. Other kinds of rugs that we specialize in are called the Serapi tribal rug, traditional Tabriz wool, and silk inlaid rug, among others. We have the background of maintaining and repairing famous museum rugs in London, Vienna, and Paris. Our superstore inventory of Persian oriental rugs of all sizes, colors, designs is a result of being active in the field of Persian rugs for over 200 years.
